The Calvert County Planning Commission will hold a special meeting on the draft Prince Frederick Town Center Master Plan (July 2021 draft).

The meeting will be held virtually on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021 at 7 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is for the Planning Commission to consider comments from agencies and the public. 
Stay active through the cold winter months with sports offered through the Calvert County Department of Parks & Recreation. Take it to the hoop with basketball or take it to the mat with youth wrestling.

Join Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum Saturday, Nov. 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for American Indian Heritage Day featuring the Piscataway Nation Dancers and Singers. The event teaches pre-colonial American Indian culture in the Eastern region through archaeological interpretations, hands-on demonstrations and exhibits.
Citizens are reminded that Calvert County Government has reopened an information call center to assist eligible residents who wish to register for a booster or third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine through the Calvert County Health Department.

For questions or assistance scheduling an appointment, residents may call 410-535-0218, Monday, Wednesday or Friday between
10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

In collaboration with the Calvert County Health Department, the Calvert County Office on Aging is offering a free “Living Well with Diabetes” workshop.

This interactive class provides practical insights to help those with diabetes and pre-diabetes learn how to manage their condition. The workshop will be offered at two senior centers : 

North Beach Senior Center on Fridays through Nov. 12, 1-4 p.m.

Southern Pines Senior Center
 Mondays, Nov. 8 through Dec. 13,
1-4 p.m.
