Citizens who wish to provide public comment are invited to attend public meetings or can provide comment by dialing in by phone at the published time. To provide dial-in comment, call toll-free 888-475-4499 or 877-853-5257 and enter the Meeting ID 899 4188 8251 and passcode #. Callers will be provided further instruction during the meeting on how to indicate you wish to speak.

Mark your calendars! The 35th Annual Children’s Day on the Farm is Sunday, June 5, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Jefferson Patterson
Park & Museum.

Explore Calvert County’s brand-new Sweet Treat Trail this spring and summer! Stretching from northern Calvert to the southern tip of Solomons, find locally owned bakeries, ice cream shops and other sweet businesses to explore
and support.

The Calvert County Board of Elections is accepting applications for individuals who wish to serve as election judges for the 2022 primary and general elections. No experience is required; election judges will receive comprehensive mandatory training in advance. In addition, election judges will be compensated for training and for working on early voting and election days. 
Calvert County Farmers Markets help support local farmers, watermen and small businesses and allow you to feel good about your food sources. Offering a variety of fruits, vegetables, plants and baked goods, there’s something for everyone. The 2022 market schedule is:

Tuesdays: CalvertHealth
2:30 - 6:30 p.m. 

Thursdays: Dunkirk District Park
3:30 - 6:30 p.m. 

Saturdays: Sneade’s Ace Home Center parking lot, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

North Beach Senior Center
parking lot, 8 a.m. to noon 
Enjoy an evening of family fun and fireworks at Breezy Point Beach & Campground from 5-9 p.m. on May 21! The free blast-off event will feature music, tasty food from local food trucks, games, activities and a fireworks display at dark. 

Preregistration is not required. Everyone is welcome to bring a picnic or use the grills at the beach; grills are available on a first-come,
first-served basis.
