Citizens who wish to provide public comment are invited to attend public meetings or can provide comment by dialing in by phone at the published time. To provide dial-in comment, call toll-free 888-475-4499 or 877-853-5257 and enter the Meeting ID 899 4188 8251 and passcode #. Callers will be provided further instruction during the meeting on how to indicate you wish to speak.

The Department of Parks & Recreation reminds citizens that the Mt. Hope Community Center will reopen under normal hours of operation today, March 1.

The center was temporarily closed due to construction on the communications tower. Mt. Hope Community Center is located at 104 Pushaw Station Road in Sunderland. 
The Department of Parks & Recreation will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of Ward Farm Recreation and Nature Park. The ceremony will be held Tuesday, March 8 at 2 p.m. at 10455 Ward Road in Dunkirk.

The new park currently features multiple multi-use athletic fields, nature trails, paved pathways and a fishing pier. Future construction will add boardwalks overlooking ponds and wetlands, a nature and environmental center, picnic shelters, a disc golf course, playgrounds, camping space and more.
