Citizens who wish to provide public comment are invited to attend public meetings or can provide comment by dialing in by phone at the published time. To provide dial-in comment, call toll-free 888-475-4499 or 877-853-5257 and enter the Meeting ID 899 4188 8251 and passcode #. Callers will be provided further instruction during the meeting on how to indicate you wish to speak.

The BOCC has begun accepting applications for the Calvert County Police Accountability Board and Calvert County Administrative Charging Committee as of Tuesday, March 1, 2022. 

Calvert County Government is focused on attaining a balanced representation of diverse backgrounds and experiences to execute those powers and duties. Those interested in serving may complete an online application form through the county government website.
The BOCC will hold a public hearing Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 7 p.m. to consider and receive comments regarding the fiscal year (FY) 2023 staff recommended operating and capital improvement budget.

The public hearing will be held at the Harriet Elizabeth Brown Community Center located at 901 Dares Beach Road, Prince Frederick, Maryland 20678. Interested persons are encouraged attend or view the livestream on Calvert County Government's YouTube page. Visit online for information to listen or comment by telephone. 
The Hallowing Point Park restrooms that serve visitors of fields 1 through 6 have been demolished in preparation for construction of a new restroom facility. 

A temporary restroom trailer will be available beginning on Tuesday, March 8.

Work is expected to be complete in late July, but is subject to change due to supply chain issues or inclement weather.
Purchase a rubber duck to race down the pool for a great cause during Therapeutic Recreation's 7th Annual Duck Race! All proceeds from the race will go toward registration fees for a child with special needs to attend a Calvert County Therapeutic Summer Camp. The race will be held in the Edward T. Hall Aquatic Center's leisure pool at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2022.
