Callers will be provided further instruction during the meeting on how to indicate you wish to speak.

Chesapeake Hills Golf Course has upgraded its sales system to provide faster customer service, reduce wait times and offer web-based options for all golf-related purchases. The new system went live today, Monday, March 6, 2023.

Mark your calendars for Community Resource Day on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Calvert Pines Senior Center at 450 W Dares Beach Road in Prince Frederick from 2-6 p.m.


Meet local agencies and organizations that offer resources for housing, utilities, jobs, transportation, food, clothing, medical and personal care, legal support and assistance with vital records.

For two decades, the outstanding contributions and achievements of women in Calvert County have been recognized at the annual Women of the World (WOW) Recognition Celebration led by the Calvert County Commission for Women.


The public is invited to join in honoring the accomplishments and contributions of outstanding Calvert County women and girls at this year’s virtual event on Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Calvert County residents can help improve their county government services by participating in a new survey that aims to help officials better understand residents’ priorities, concerns on county services and overall quality of life.


The survey is available at www.CalvertCountyMd.gov/Survey and asks residents to rate their experience with different aspects of life in Calvert County including housing, education, transportation and public safety. Feedback will be used by county officials and staff to better identify and understand concerns and enhance the county’s responsiveness to community issues.

Bring some good luck to a shelter dog during the St. Pittie’s Day O’Dopt-A-Thon at the Linda L. Kelley Animal Shelter in Prince Frederick. In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, adoption fees for all dogs will be $17 from March 14-18, 2023. Regular adoption procedures still apply.
