Citizens who wish to provide public comment are invited to attend public meetings or can provide comment by dialing in by phone at the published time. Callers will be provided further instruction during the meeting on how to indicate you wish to speak.

The Calvert County Office of the County Attorney, on behalf of the BOCC, will hold a public town hall meeting Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, from 7-9 p.m., to receive public input on a revised draft resolution regarding the creation of a Calvert County Police Accountability Board.

The meeting will be held at the Calvert Pines Senior Center at 450 West Dares Beach Road in Prince Frederick.
Volunteers are needed for the upcoming Annmarie Garden in Lights holiday light show. Sign up for one or more nights and be part of the magic - and have fun bringing joy to others this holiday season! 

A variety of positions are available throughout the event, both inside and outside. 

All volunteers will receive comp passes for the event and will be invited to the post-event volunteer brunch. 
The Department of Planning & Zoning, on behalf of the Calvert County Planning Commission, invites anyone interested in the future of the Dunkirk Town Center to participate in a virtual informational meeting on Monday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. Interested persons can attend the workshop virtually by registering online. 

The meeting will be held as a continuation of the Dunkirk Town Center Master Plan and Zoning Update process.
Calvert County Government has launched a newly redesigned Chesapeake Hills Golf Course website to showcase the amenities and services offered at Calvert County’s premier golf course.

The dynamic new mobile-friendly website features an attractive and easy-to-navigate interface to help residents and visitors locate golf course information.

Congratulations to our Department of Economic Development on their 2021 Maryland Economic Development Association award. This award recognizes the department's Calvert Confidently initiative created in the heart of the pandemic when small businesses needed support from our local community the most. Economic Development showcased local businesses and the precautions they were taking, assuring citizens could discover, shop, enjoy and indulge confidently.
