Fall sports have started competing, please support our student athletes and attend an event.
Updated schedules are below in the Athletics section. |
CDO families,
Meet the administration......
With the new administration building recently completed we have several changes in location of the administrative staff. The signs are not up quite yet to guide you as to where to go for your needs. When you come in the front door (south door), Ramona Henkel is directly to your left. She has the sign in sheet and dispenses visitor's passes should you need one. Directly to your right (southeast corner) is the new nurse's office. The attendance office is on the left (west wall) in the main thoroughfare. The principal's office is directly next to the attendance office. On the east side of admin are the assistant principals, their secretaries and the SRO's. The athletics office is in the area as well.
Both the data technician and the registrar have moved to the counseling office. Transcript requests are now processed in that area.
The assistant principal's duties have remained similar to previous years. Mr. Thatcher remains the athletic director and supervises operations; Mr. Enright oversees curriculum and student activities; Ms. Harris oversees instruction and special education.
Have a restful Labor Day week-end.

Just go to the website and click Parent Organization on the left hand side. There you will find more information about us. Just click on the link to down load the Donation Form. Our goal is $20 per family, but any amount would be helpful. Thank you for taking an interest in your child's high school experience.

Parent Portal
The Parent Portal provides access to your child's class progress (overall current grades), assignments (individual assignment grades), attendance, and other important information. Teachers will be updating student grades by the 1st and 15th of each month. On the morning of the day following these dates you will be able to log into the Portal and see your child's current grades in each class. Attendance is entered on a daily basis. Log onto the portal any school day after 4:00PM and you will be able to review your child's attendance for that day and any day prior. The Parent Portal should allow you to see the above information for all of your children enrolled in the Amphitheater Public Schools.
The Parent Portal works best when using the Internet Explorer browser. The Mozilla Firefox browser is also compatible with the Parent Portal.
The Parent Portal must be accessed from a laptop or desktop computer; it is not available from mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets at this time.
To access the Parent Portal, enter your username and password at:

Questions regarding your child's academic progress should be directed to your child's teacher(s) . Your child's counselor can also be an important resource. Faculty email and phone numbers can be found at the "Directory" link on the CDO homepage.
Questions should be directed to David Thatcher, Assistant Principal (dthatche@amphi.com ) 696-5561.
