Green Open House

The Green Office officially opened on April 6, 2026. Our ribbon cutting and open house took place on March 27, 2026, and was well attended by internal staff and community members, including Mayor Rocco P. Yeargin, Green school counselors, and other members of the Green community.

Location & Hours

Our ability to serve you has grown and we are so excited about it! Our new Green office brings compassionate care close to home for those that live in Southern Summit and Northern Stark Counties! Our outpatient programs are designed to meet you where you are and help you build the tools you need to thrive. Support is closer than you think. Is your child or teen facing big emotions, school stress, behavioral challenges, or life changes? If so, we are here to help you navigate this!

Step into an evening where hope blooms at the 14th annual Growing Up Akron fundraising event, hosted by Child Guidance & Family Solutions. Join us at Himelright Lodge, nestled amid the natural beauty of Cascade Valley Metro Park, for a night bursting with music, magic, delicious picnic fare, refreshing drinks, a garden of silent-auction treasures, and rich opportunities to cultivate new connections. This is more than an event; it’s a vibrant celebration of Greater Akron’s families.
