Travelers who book to stay at Chilo Gorge in 2021 for 4 nights or more can benefit from either:

One free seat rate flight per person into or out of Chilo Gorge's Mahenye Airstrip or nearby Buffalo Range Airstrip

A 25% discount on the All Inclusive price of their stay at Chilo; applicable to Chilo Gorge Safari Lodge, Chilo Gorge Tented Camp, Ivory Trail Adventure Fly Camping, or any combination thereof.

The Flexible 2021 Special Offer combines great value and amazing flexibility. Once the date of travel approaches, if concerns remain about the safety of travel due to Covid-19, the stay can be postponed by up to a further 12 months .

We are holding rates constant for 2021, which means that over the last 4 years our high season rates have increased by a mere 5%, and our low season rates will have not changed at all.

COVID-19 UPDATE

Given the news and developments over the last few days with regard to the spread of Covid-19 within Zimbabwe, we have decided, in consultation with Chief Mahenye and the CAMPFIRE committee, to temporarily close Chilo Gorge Safari Lodge as of 27th March 2020.

Our priority is the health and safety of our guests, the staff and the local community, and therefore we have decided that a temporary closure is the most prudent course of action. We anticipate re-opening on 1st July 2020.

For any your clients who were due to visit in the coming weeks, we apologize wholeheartedly for not being able to host them. Please CLICK HERE to download our special postponement and cancellation terms which are applicable during the Covid-19 pandemic, and we will endeavor to be as flexible as we can be in respect to rebooking your clients' trip to a time later in the year.
