CTK Communiqué
December 2, 2016

"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them"  John  6:44
"I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow." 1 Corinthians 3:6

Dear Christ the King Vineyard Church Family,

December is here and we are expecting so many families and friends to be visiting our church this month.  I would like you all to pray that God the Father would be drawing people to himself and using us to plant the seed of the Gospel in so many hearts and lives.  Please also pray about who God would have you invite to one of our church's Christmas events.  One invite can change someone's life.

Here are few events and gatherings to pray for this month:
  • Saturday, December 3rd: Breakfast with St. Nick and Bethlehem Journey from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
  • Our Family Christmas service with our learning center preschool at our 10:45 am service on December 18th.
  • Our two Christmas Eve services at 5:00 and 7:00 pm on December 24th.
Praying Together,

Pastor Dwight

Rescuing the Perishing Clothing Ministry
YAAA GOD!!  We have received 70 coats for our people in the parking lot.  These added to the ones you have given means toasty warm people when the snow flies.  It never ceases to amaze us how abundantly God provides.

Our main needs at this time are socks, blankets, and men's winter shirts and hoodies.  New underwear and winter weight PJs are much asked for items by both men and women as well.

Thanks again and may God richly bless you and yours this Thanksgiving.

Please place donations in the container near the church office.
Rescuing the Perishing Help Needed
tues night homeless
The Rescuing the Perishing ministry to the homeless is in need of volunteers, for washing pots and pans at the church Tuesdays late afternoon and to go downtown on Tuesdays from  7:00-8:00pm . You can meet us at the NW corner of E 19th and Payne Ave in the parking lot, or you can caravan with us from Christ the King Church in North Olmsted at 6:30pm.

We are also in need of containers (with lids!) 32 ounces and under, like cottage cheese containers, yogurt, margarine, etc. These are used for serving soup each week and we never have enough. The ones that have been coming in were PERFECT!  Thank you!

Call Sue Loparo for details at  440-237-3740.
