| | SOLAR PROJECT UPDATE: The above chart shows solar production for the entire month of March. The fluctuations are mainly based on cloudy/rainy days. On the sunniest day (Mar. 27) we produced .876 megawatt. There were also some issues at the beginning of the month that were resolved after March 9. | | From Mar. 15 to Apr. 15 we produced 17.5 megawatts and we average about 14 megawatts of usage per month. We should now be producing more electricity than we need each month throughout the year, dramatically bringing our total carbon emissions down to the level of a small household. Amazing! –Jon+ | | |

Thank you for everyone who has been so generous donating to Pancreatic Cancer UK in honor of my mom who died of pancreatic cancer 19 years ago. Research funding is so important in helping find cures and helping manage the disease. Some of our parishioners have witnessed what can happen when funding and research successes change treatment of incurable diseases.
For those who may be up early this Sunday, please feel free to track my marathon. You can find me on the London Marathon site under Jon Strand or using my bib number 17287.
Scott Stewart of Holy Comforter will be there cheering on his niece as well as Beth and several friends. I will start on Sunday just before 10 a.m. (5 a.m. EST) but I should take around 3.5 hours to run so the most dramatic parts won’t happen until 7–8:30 a.m. EST. The race starts near the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, then goes east only to come back into Greenwich at mile 6 in front of the Cutty Sark; then past the Tower of London at mile 12; past Big Ben and St. Paul’s; finishing in St. James Park near Buckingham Palace. It should be the worlds’ largest marathon ever this year with the greatest number of runners.
Blessings and Thanks!
“Let us run the race with perseverance… “

Centering Prayer
Join us for this contemplative form of Christian meditation in which one gently rests in God’s presence beyond thoughts, words, or emotions, using a sacred word to return to stillness when distracted. Holy Comforter now offers two sessions per week on Zoom. Each lasts about 30 minutes and includes a brief check-in, an opening prayer, 20 minutes of silence, and closing prayer. No registration needed. Come to one or both; come occasionally, come every week! Questions? Contact the Rev. Jon Strand.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be no Centering Prayer on April 26 and 27.
