The "Thank You To" Volunteer of the Month

Joe-Wuest

Joe Wuest is the Director of the CU Elite Invitational.  He also serves on the CU Board as part of the CUP Operations Committee.  When asked how CU sets itself apart from other clubs, Joe said, "CU provides players and families a full range of opportunities to enjoy and develop in soccer at levels appropriate for their age, ability and interest.  Unlike most clubs that may have only one or two teams, your child has the opportunity within CU to play within multiple teams that play in competitive local leagues to regional leagues to national leagues."

"Soccer Term of the Month"

Each month we will be highlighting soccer terminology.  This is a word you may hear on the field from your coach, trainer, or player.

The Soccer Term of the Month is: obstruction

This is an offense, whereby one player, judged not to be in possession of the ball, prevents another player from obtaining the ball by unfairly blocking them off.
