A Reminder about Legislative Committee Meetings
The Colorado Senior Lobby Legislative Committee Meetings are now in the summer session schedule where there is generally a meeting every 2 weeks for the rest of the year. At these meetings the group reviews topics affecting older adults in Colorado and invite senior experts to make presentations to the group. The meetings are open to members and the general public. Technology & Aging in the News
“Colorado Real Estate Journal,” has a July 2017 special insert focused on real estate and older adults. The insert called “Health Care Properties Quarterly” has some interesting articles about seniors and aging. In particular page 22, the article “Integrating Technology into Senior Living Communities,” mentions the senior-oriented technology group Aging 2.0. The Denver Chapter of Aging2.0 is led by Karen Brown, who is a former Colorado Senior Lobby Board Member.
