Sign ups are open for the 12th Annual Hooks for Hunger Walleye Tournament being held on Saturday June 28th! Your team entry fee of $150 (9 rod limit), includes a catered lunch, prize eligibility including big walleye and big sheepshead, and lots of door prizes! There is a 50 team limit so sign up soon while there's still spots available. Stop and see Craig Lewis at Erie Outfitters, 5404 E. Lake Road, Sheffield Lake, to sign up! Questions? | | CLEVELAND CLINIC AVON HOSPITAL CEREAL DRIVE | | |
Thank you, Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital, for your Incredible cereal drive! Thanks to the incredible efforts of hospital staff, approximately 1,200 pounds of cereal were collected. This is enough to provide an amazing 13,602 servings!
Cereal is one of the most requested items at our pantry, and this donation will help ensure that local families have access to nutritious, easy-to-prepare breakfasts during the summer months when children are home from school. We are so grateful for the continued partnership and community spirit shown by Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital. Your commitment to helping neighbors in need makes a meaningful difference!

GARDENING WORKSHOP AT CRS!
The volunteers from the Avon-on-the-Lake Garden Club once again brought their knowledge and expertise to our clients at CRS! They set up shop outside our office and where they offered tips for growing lettuce and tomatoes! Everyone went home with their own plant to grow at home! A second workshop was help on June 17th. Clients were delighted to take home their own herb plants!
We are so grateful for the Avon-on-the-Lake Garden Club members for their support in this initiative and everything else they do to support CRS throughout the year!

ATTENTION GARDENERS!
If you ever find yourself with extra produce from your gardens, please consider donating it to the CRS food pantry! Our clients absolutely love to receive healthy, home-grown produce options.
If possible, please drop off your donations on Mondays or Tuesdays so that we can ensure they are distributed before the weekend. Thank you!

We are currently in need of TOILET PAPER! Also jelly/jam (plastic jars please), canned fruit, and hearty soups.
If you are able to donate it would be greatly appreciated. We accept donations during our regular business hours, Monday - Friday, from 10am - 2pm.
Just drive down the alley behind our office and ring the doorbell by the CRS sign.

2025 CRS SUMMER HOURS
The CRS office will be closed on Fridays between Memorial Day and Labor Day, beginning with Friday, May 30th. We will be open again on Fridays beginning on September 5th.
