Thanks for Making a Difference!
After having to skip last year, we were very happy to provide Easter baskets and Easter food to our clients again this year! We distributed 44 Easter Brunch Baskets, 93 children received Easter Baskets and 24 seniors got to pick either a $25 gift certificate to Walmart or The Kitchen in Avon Lake.

We couldn't have done it without the help of the following organizations:

Avon Lake United Church of Christ made 100 beautiful Easter baskets filled with toys and candy.

Christ Church Westshore donated 60 $25 Giant Eagle gift certificates for perishable food items.

The North Coast Rotary Club donated coffee, creamer and canned fruit for the Easter Brunch food baskets.

The New WestSiders donated Easter candy and breakfast food.
Mother's Day Gift Bag Distribution
Mother's Day is May 9, 2021 and we could use your help in making this day a very special one for our clients. We are currently collecting items that we will put into gift bags to distribute to all of the moms that we serve. If you would like to participate, we will be collecting items such as: specialty soaps and lotions, chocolates and other gourmet treats, nail polish and manicure sets, slippers, or other items that will make them feel special!

We will be collecting items through April 30th. Thanks!

CRS has truly been blessed this month with many donations of non-perishable items for our food pantry.

Thank you to the following businesses and organizations: Barry Bagels, Bay Presbyterian Church, Christ Church Westshore, Eastview Elementary, Giant Eagle-Avon Lake, Holy Trinity School, Hunger Network Food Rescue, Meijer, and St. Joe's Blessing Box.

This is in addition to the many individuals who bring donations to the CRS office on a daily basis.

We are so very grateful for all of the donations that help keep our food pantry well stocked. Thank you for making a difference, right here at home!
