ELEMENT LABS HOSTS
CHARITY BALL COLLECTION EVENT

Thank you to Element LABS Bath & Body Boutique, located at 33467 Lake Rd. in Avon Lake, for hosting a gift card collection event in support of CRS.  Guests were treated to wine and desserts at a private shopping event where the cost of admission was a gift card from a local establishment that will be used in the silent auction for the Charity Ball!
The Charity Ball committee will be hosting lots of these types of events in homes and businesses.  We will be encouraging guests to support locally owned establishments by purchasing gift cards to be donated to CRS.  We believe these procurement parties are a great way to support the Charity Ball while also supporting our local businesses that may have struggled this year due to COVID-19. For more information about the Charity Ball or the procurement parties, please contact Sheila at sroth@aalcrs.org.

Meijer Simply Give Campaign

Meijer will once again be inviting their customers to join a combined effort to fight hunger by purchasing the $10 Simply Give donation cards through in-store displays located at each check-out register.  All donations will directly benefit our food pantry! The campaign goes through Saturday, January 2, 2021.

DOUBLE MATCH DAYS! All donation cards purchased on Tuesday, December 1 and Saturday, December 12 will be double matched by Meijer!!

Meijer's 2019 Simply Give Campaign resulted in a donation to CRS of $5,070 in food only gift cards that we used to purchase items for our food pantry! Meijer is a family company focused on enriching the lives in the communities they serve, especially during these challenging times. We are grateful for the support that we receive!

Meijer's Super Shopper!

Special thanks to our volunteer, Amy Schmidt, who goes shopping for us once a week at the Avon Meijer store.  Armed with gift cards that we received through the Meijer Simply Give program, Amy buys perishables like fruit, cheese, eggs, lunch meat, ground beef and more.  Our families are so happy to receive some of the items that we normally aren't able to offer them! Thank you Amy, for making it possible!
