Community Resource Services was recently presented with two checks from the Community West Foundation. The first is a grant of $10,000 for funding General Operating Support for our Client Assistance Programs. The second is for $1,847 from the Community West Foundation Community Impact Fund which is funded through generous donations from their supporters. We are so blessed to be supported by an organization that trusts us to fulfill our mission of serving the needs of Avon and Avon Lake residents who are struggling financially. CRS has truly been blessed this month with many donations of non-perishable items for our food pantry.
Thank you to the following businesses and organizations: Avenbury Ladies of the Lakes, Avon & Avon Lake Republican Club, Avon Lake United Church of Christ, Avon Lake Giant Eagle, Barry Bagels, Bay Presbyterian Church, Christ Church Westshore, Coleman Gardens, LLC., Holy Spirit Church, Hunger Network Food Rescue, New WestSiders, Redwood Elementary School and St. Joseph Parish.
This is in addition to the many individuals who bring donations to the CRS office on a daily basis.

Our food pantry exists thanks to so many who generously donate. We currently are in need of boxed macaroni & cheese, peanut butter, jelly, pasta sauce (in plastic jars please), dish soap and small (40 oz..) liquid laundry detergent. We do not need any canned vegetables right now.
Thank you for your generous support in keeping our pantry stocked!
