Thanks for Making a Difference!

On Saturday, June 25th the 9th Annual Hooks for Hunger Walleye Tournament was held at Miller Road Boat Launch in Avon Lake. This sold out event was a huge success raising over $28,000! Since it's inception in 2013, Hooks for Hunger has raised over $208,000 to benefit CRS! The volunteers on the Hooks Committee work hard all year to ensure the success of the event. Thanks to Tyler Randall, Ed Moran, Joe Reitz, Scott Bruegger, Brian Belmont and Craig Lewis. Special thanks also goes to the City of Avon Lake, the Avon Lake Parks & Recreation Department, the amazing team of volunteers that cooked and served the food and all the people that volunteered their time on the day of the event! And of course the event could not be possible without all the donors, sponsors and participants that support Hooks for Hunger every year! THANK YOU!
We are pleased to announce the annual “Homeruns for Hunger” event will take place on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Mercy Health Stadium in Avon. Support CRS while watching the Lake Erie Crushers take on the Evansville Otters! Game time is 7:05 pm. NUTRITIONAL FOOD DONATIONS

Our food pantry exists thanks to so many who generously donate. We currently are in need of jelly, individual snack foods, pods of small (40 oz.) sized laundry detergent, dish soap, and paper towels. We do not need any canned vegetables or beans right now.

Thank you for your generous support in keeping our pantry stocked!
