I'm sure Ol' Chris would have agreed with the BVI Tourism slogan 'Nature's Little Secret', though he may not have got the ad slogan 'Yachts Not Slots'.

The correct answer to last months question is

Happy Valentines Day
From Conch Charters

Christopher Columbus first discovered the British Virgin Islands in 1492 and went on to become a well known explorer.

He named the islands the 'Virgin Islands' on his second voyage in 1493 after the 11,000 Virgins of St Ursula for their untouchable beauty. Nothing has changed really except for the number of virgins perhaps....

You too can become an explorer and rediscover these beautiful islands. From remote and romantic beaches to wild and wonderful bars, the BVI has something to offer everyone.

Did you know?

The island famous drink called the 'painkiller' was originally invented in the BVI to mimic a blender drink for remote island bars that did not have the luxury of electricity.

Test your knowledge and see if you know what the ingredients are... there might just be a winning Conch Cap in it for you!

Conch's Fab Spot of the Month

Little Jost Van Dyke is home to the latest craze in the area, 'The B-Line Bar'. This little gem is nestled in the foliage with beautiful snorkeling on its front door and conveniently located just down the shores from Sandy Spit.

The B-Line Bar takes you back to the good ol days here in the Caribbean with a very basic set up, the best atmosphere and lovely people!

They have definitely found a little piece of heaven here in the islands! With beautiful snorkeling, white sandy beaches and cold drinks with names like 'Passion Confusion'... it is definitely worth a visit on your next trip.

 Testing Question
Vixen Point offers a beautiful anchorage in the BVI just at the tip of this island. What is the name of the island where it is located?

Not sure... here is a hint... There is a bar ashore called 'The Sandbox'.
