Beta, who is CA’s resident environmental toxicologist (one of only four among our industry’s trade associations), played a leading role in representing CA in the meeting of the International Associations Collaboration (IAC) held in conjunction with the CE conference. Cosmetics Enforcement by Canada's Environmental Regulator

CA associate member, Gowling WLG, recently conducted a highly valuable member webinar regarding Environment Canada and ECCC enforcement activities. Participants learned about environmental regulatory enforcement related to the cosmetic industry, including legal obligations and practical tips that companies need to know when an ECCC enforcement officer comes calling. An overview of the interplay between Health Canada and ECCC within the framework of cosmetics regulation was also provided.

Industry Patrons Visit CA's Office

CA's Toronto-area Industry Patrons had their first opportunity post-covid to visit CA's office where they enjoy some lunch and conversation. They chatted about the evolving industry and reflected on the wonderful work of the Look Good Feel Better Foundation and why it remains an important initiative for our industry. In attendance were:

We can't thank her enough for her many contributions! On behalf of the CA Board, staff, and all our members, thank you Philloza for your many years of service, support, and dedication to our industry. We will miss you and we wish you all the best in this next stage.
