Our Second Decade of Excellence

With Memorial Day less than a week away, I feel comfortable saying "Welcome to summer!" County House Research has spent the past few months busy with spring cleaning and with implementing our many excellent employee suggestions and recommendations for operations and new services. Hardly into the second quarter and we have made so many improvements, updates, and upgrades that I cannot hardly believe it. Everyone here is really looking forward to the second quarter and the rest of the year. Thank you very much for being a big part of our success.

Warmest regards,

President
Robin's Ruminations
New Jersey! The summer spot for beaches, salt water taffy, and all around fun in the sun. With the summer weather here, please remember to keep your pet's safety in mind while traveling or just hanging out. New Jersey has a site for Pet Emergency Awareness that offers great information on how to care for pets in the event of an emergency.

At County House Research, not only do we care about your pet, we care about your clients. That is why we take your searches directly into the county courthouse, ensuring that you get the best quality public information.

Chris' Catch

As reported in the BRB's Public Record Update back in January of this year, Maine now has central service center in Lewiston for all record search requests. Walk in and mail in requests at individual county court houses are no longer being honored. There is also a new $20 fee per name, per court, which includes both criminal and civil dockets if requested. But here is the catch, requesting both dockets doubles turnaround time to as much as two weeks currently. Under the new rules, Private Investigators are allowed to conduct "walk in " style searches for the same cost. However, they are limited to 4 names per visit daily and copies of licenses must be provided to the court.
