Emergency Medicine residency-trained and board certified or board eligible (ABEM or ABOEM) physicians are needed for a Level I Trauma Center which treats over 70,000 patients per year. This excellent hospital is also a comprehensive stroke center. Pediatric emergency care is located in a separate location in the hospital, and services are provided by the Department of Pediatrics. The department is active at all levels of medical student education including a mandatory 4th year medical student clerkship and an active Emergency Medicine Interest group. Opportunities exist for involvement in research, EMS, Ultrasound, Toxicology, new ventures and all levels of medical student, resident and fellow education. New initiatives are currently being planned for an observation unit and an urgent care center. The department has a growing toxicology service and an active clinical research program. Hospital is situated in a great location near Princeton and within 50 miles of New York City and 70 miles of New Jersey beaches and Philadelphia with lots of cultural and recreational opportunities available. Two ABEM certified physicians are needed for hospitals located in picturesque western Pennsylvania. One ER sees 40,000 annually and the other 60,000. Shifts are 8,9,10 or 12 with scheduling flexibility. Eight weeks paid time off. $150/hr. PA's used for fastrack and triage. Possible relocation and signing bonuses to qualified candidates. 20 - 40 minute drive to culturally active downtown Pittsburgh.

Emergency physician needed for a newly renovated community hospital with Level III Trauma Designation in nice location in West Virginia. Group will consider board certified FM or IM physicians with emergency experience. Emergency Department has 40 beds (all private rooms), RFID tracking, new cath lab, bed-side ultrasound. The facility has a Level III trauma designation.
Compensation and benefits include relocation allowance, sign-on bonus and student loan repayment available. Hourly rate is $160/hour with for sixteen 9-hour shifts per month (1,728 hours annually) with flexible scheduling. Independent group is offering rapid 18-month partnership track with no buy-in, wage and benefit increases, profit-sharing and 401(k) available.
