During the past month, Dr. Derick's expertise and advice have been included in two different books that will be published in early 2012. First, she updated her previously published chapter about dermatology in a book geared for medical students, "The Ultimate Guide To Choosing a Medical Specialty" in a revised edition that will be released by McGraw-Hill. In addition, once again, she contributed to a book in the popular parenting series, "The Mommy MD Guide to the Toddler Years."
