Dougy Center's New Website is Here!

Children, teens, parents, caregivers, and young adults who are grieving before and after the death of a family member or close friend often feel alone and unsure where to turn for resources and support. Dougy Center's new website is a grief-informed, helpful, and easy-to-use resource for all ages. At dougy.org, those who are grieving, as well as professionals and supporters of grievers, can find hundreds of activities, articles, tip sheets, podcasts, and more, at absolutely no cost. The site can also assist users in finding peer grief support programs in their communities.

Funded by a generous grant from the New York Life Foundation and created in partnership with Daylight Studio in Portland, the new site is an accessible and comprehensive resource dedicated to supporting children, teens, young adults, and parents/caregivers who are grieving.

Join us for the 2021 International Summer Institute: Virtual Professional Seminar. Scholarships available!
Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, Dougy Center's annual in-person Summer Institute is pivoting to a virtual training.

Join us for an opportunity to explore the fundamentals of grief education across the lifespan. While the majority of helping professionals do not have formal grief education, the 2021 Virtual Professional Seminar, July 26 to 30, will provide the tools and information to become grief-informed. Learn with colleagues from around the United States and beyond who support, or plan to support, children and families who are grieving.

We are thrilled to announce that Dougy Center will be awarding four scholarships to the virtual Summer Institute, made possible by a grant from the New York Life Foundation. Apply here through April 1, 2021.

Porsche Boxster Raffle Tickets Make the Perfect Valentine!
Make an impact for kids and teens who are grieving through Dougy Center's 24th Annual Porsche Boxster Raffle. You or someone you love could win a brand new 2021 Porsche Boxster valued at over $63,000! Tickets are just $100 each and only 2,000 will be sold. All proceeds will help fund peer support groups and resources for families who are grieving.

Purchase your ticket here before March 5, 2021, and you will be entered to win two $500 cash prizes! Cash prize winners will be included in all drawings. The winning ticket will be drawn on May 7, 2021.

Must be 18 years or older to enter. Oregon Department of Justice requires a raffle ticket purchaser must be physically located in Oregon at the time of purchase (you do not have to be an Oregon resident). Cash prize winners will be included in all drawings. Need not be present to win. Taxes on all items are the sole responsibility of the winner.
