Randall Oaks Pumpkin Festival Come one, come all to the annual Randall Oaks Pumpkin Festival on Saturday, October 8 from 10:00 am-3:00 pm and plan to buy your pumpkins here. Enjoy making crafts, feed the animals a special treat, take a hayride and more! Bring the family for a day of fun at the zoo. All activities are included with Zoo admission, with the exception of the hayride, which is $3 per person.

Get ready for a spooktacular night filled with games, crafts, a spooky walk, costume contest and more! Friday, October 28, 6:00-9:00pm at the Rakow Center for ages 2-11.

Fall Art ShowMembers of our community have been  hard at work painting beautiful masterpieces. Come and view their works of art at the annual Fall Art Show on October 15 & 16 from Noon - 4:00 pm at the Dundee Township Park District Senior Center located at 665 Barrington Ave., Carpentersville, IL. Over 100 paintings will be on display and for sale from a variety of area artists. Enjoy refreshments, live music, art and a raffle. For more information please call 847-551-4307.

The Randall Oaks Recreation Center construction site has been busy with activity. The foundation has been laid and the walls are going up. Keep following our progress on our website as the building begins to take shape with a scheduled completion of Fall 2012.

Winter Youth Basketball League
Does your child love to play basketball?  Register them for the winter youth basketball league (registration deadline: Monday, October 24). Teams will be formed according to grade level allowing boys and girls to play both with and against their classmates. Each team will practice at least once a week at various locations. - Boys League

Schools Out Club  Schools Out Club is a great way to keep your children (Grades 1-5) entertained on days off from school! The program will be held on October 7 and 10 from 7:00 am-6:00 pm at the Rakow Center. A variety of activities will be planned for the children including arts & crafts, games, swimming at our indoor pool, videos and field trips.
The Park District will provide two treats/drinks during the day. Please send your child with a sack lunch, swim suit and towel. Space is limited to 40 children so stop by the Rakow Center or online to register.
