"Powering Chicago" website and
"Ours to Protect" web portal are active!

The Electrical Contractors' Association of City of Chicago invites you to explore the new websites for Powering Chicago and Ours to Protect . Through the LMCC's partnership between the ECA and IBEW Local 134, the unionized electrical industry of Cook County has been re-imagined as Powering Chicago.

Powering Chicago aims to strengthen the electrical and construction industries throughout Cook County with in-depth articles and stories about the unique and impactful construction projects populating Chicago.

In addition to Powering Chicago, and because of your membership to ECA, you have exclusive access to the members-only website, Ours to Protect. Ours to Protect will provide members with important facts about the landscape of the construction industry and the unionized electrical industry both here in Illinois and across the country.

We invite you to check out Powering Chicago's website here and to sign up for Ours to Protect here

*Note: To ensure the information on Ours to Protect stays between ECA and IBEW Local 134 members, we ask that you create a login using your work email address. Please put "N/A" where it indicates your IBEW Card Number.
