ECA Summer Social: Beach Party!
ECA members enjoyed the Association's 2021 Summer Beach Bash! This year's summer social event was held on August 13, 2021 at Theater on the Lake in Chicago. The event featured plenty of epicurean cuisine, boat drinks, a pig roast, lawn games (bocce ball and bags), and musical entertainment island style by the Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band "Gone 2 Paradise." This complimentary event was offered for ECA Members and their spouse or guest.

NECAPAC Golf Outing
"Thank you!" to all who were able to participate!

The Electrical Contractors’ Association of City of Chicago (ECA) held a special event called, “ECA NECPAC Golf Outing.” This was an opportunity for Chapter members to not only participate in a golf outing on August 23, 2021 at Olympia Fields Country Club, but, an opportunity to contribute to the NECAPAC. Again, we thank all that were able to participate!

ECA Young Professionals Third Annual Leadership Conference
 
The ECA Young Professionals Committee coordinated their Third Annual Leadership Conference: “Adaptive Leadership and Innovation.” The successful conference with over 40 attendees was held on August 26 - 27, 2021 and featured dynamic speakers: Alex Willis, Leadership Surge, John Finch, Milwaukee Tool, Tauhira Ali, Executive Director of Industry Innovation at NECA, and Josh Bone, Executive Director of ELECTRI International.

ECA "Contractor Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Training Program"

The ECA's next Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee sponsored "Contractor Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Program presented by Alex Willis, Leadership Surge is scheduled for September 14, 2021. As a reminder, the program was designed with a Multi-Tier Top-Down Approach, while implementing inclusion prerequisite skills at the frontline level. This approach will guarantee that the Diversity & Inclusion lessons are sustainable and have maximum impact throughout all levels of leadership within the company. This program is complimentary for ECA Chicago Members, and there is no limit to the number of your employees that can participate.

The ECA congratulates Steve Diamond, President of Malko Communication Services, LLC, as he is to receive the Electric Association’s (EA’s) “Gold Medal Award for 2020” at the EA Membership Awards program on October 14, 2021 at the Carlisle in Lombard, Illinois. Congratulations also goes to ECA’s own Carrie Spaeth, Assistant Manager, as she will be a “Hall of Fame” award recipient!  We hope you are able to participate with this upcoming special industry event!
