On May 23, the class of 2020 was celebrated in an unconventional way! Graduates drove down parade routes in cars while being cheered on by the community. They were given their diploma and other items once they arrived in their school parking lot. Congratulations to all our graduates in the class of 2020!

Planning for Fall 2020
Englewood Schools, based on guidance from Governor Jared Polis, the Colorado Department of Education and local health authorities, has launched a task force that will make decisions regarding returning to school in fall 2020.

While the task force, along with various advisory groups made up of the greater community, will work out details regarding health and safety protocols, Englewood Schools plans to offer families a choice between remote learning and in-person, onsite learning starting in August. Families who prefer students to attend school in-person will be able to select that option, while families who prefer students to learn at home will be able to select that option. Both options will be for the entire fall semester. The District will release detailed plans for both onsite and remote learning by July 15, 2020 and ask that parents make a decision about which type of learning they prefer by August 1, 2020. Read more about the process here .

Be an Advocate for Public Education
The COVID-19 crisis has caused uncertainty in many areas of life. Englewood Schools is committed to continuing to provide quality education as well as meals and other resources for our community during this time and beyond. However, funding for education in Colorado is well below the national average and, due to the COVID-19 crisis, is at the most critical level it has ever been. Your voice and action can make a difference for students and communities who rely on public schools to provide education and resources. You can  advocate for education funding now.
