Englewood Schools, based on guidance from Governor Jared Polis, the Colorado Department of Education and local health authorities, has launched a task force that will make decisions regarding returning to school in fall 2020.
While the task force, along with various advisory groups made up of the greater community, will work out details regarding health and safety protocols, Englewood Schools plans to offer families a choice between remote learning and in-person, onsite learning starting in August. Families who prefer students to attend school in-person will be able to select that option, while families who prefer students to learn at home will be able to select that option. Both options will be for the entire fall semester. The District will release detailed plans for both onsite and remote learning by July 15, 2020 and ask that parents make a decision about which type of learning they prefer by August 1, 2020.
