Wrapping Up the School Year Remotely
graduation_cap.jpg
The last day of remote learning in Englewood Schools will be on Friday, May 15.

The week of May 18 is reserved for families to return devices. Information about when and how to return your device to your school will be coming soon if it hasn't already.

Graduation Parades
On Saturday, May 23, we will be celebrating our graduating seniors from Englewood High School and Colorado’s Finest High School of Choice in two parades! At 10:00 a.m., families and community members will be able to cheer for graduates of EHS along Logan Street as students proceed in vehicles starting at Duncan Park as they head to Englewood High School. Later that same day at 2:00 p.m., families and community members can cheer for graduates of Colorado’s Finest High School of Choice as they head south on Delaware Street from Tufts Ave. to Colorado’s Finest.

Parents, family members, friends and community members will be able to cheer our Class of 2020 graduates along both parade routes. The parade routes will allow for safe social distancing while our graduates are celebrated for their awesome accomplishments. Students will drive under a balloon arch at their respective school and receive their diplomas once they arrive in the parking lot of their school. Given the current restrictions, a traditional graduation ceremony is not possible for the foreseeable future. However, we wanted to find a way to celebrate our graduates safely and involve family and friends before some join the military or continue on to other adventures beyond Englewood. Our partners at Englewood Police Department will help to ensure that the parade route is safe for our students and that safe social distancing measures are adhered to at these celebratory events.
Free Meals & Resources
Englewood Schools is offering free "Grab & Go" meals to all children 18 and under Monday through Friday. Meals are served from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Bishop Elementary and Cherrelyn Elementary. We will continue offering this service during the summer!

On Fridays, we offer weekend food bags for families as well.

Our website has a running list of other resources available such as health and mental wellness resources, job resources and more. Access the list by clicking here.

Parenting During a Pandemic

  1. Try to get better every day.
  2. Give yourself the support you need to succeed.
  3. Be flexible.
  4. This too shall pass.
