A new preschool year is underway, and many children are coming in and out of our Far Hills building. For their safety:
- The gate separating the upper and lower parking lots is closed from Sunday evening through Friday afternoon.
- Traffic barriers are up near the lower-level doors during preschool arrival and release times.
Please avoid speeding through the parking lot or attempting to park vehicles at the lower-level curb while preschool is in session. Thank you for keeping our property a safe place for all!

MESSAGE FROM PASTOR TRACY
Grace and Peace:
As you are aware, Springfield and Wittenberg have experienced tremendous difficulty in recent months. Cuts to address budget hardships have been in the world since July and were announced the week of Sept 5. Immediately following, we were thrust into the national spotlight following the false, xenophobic hate directed at our Haitian neighbors. This led to over 15 threats directed at Wittenberg alone, with Springfield as a whole experiencing over 100c and a campus lockdown on Sept 15 and will last until at least Sept 22.
Our students are weary, the community is in pain, and uncertainty for the future is widespread.
With this in mind, I have made the decision, in consultation with Pastor Julie, to resign my 10 hour per week contract with Epiphany effective Sept 20. The substantial needs for Wittenberg and Springfield will be ongoing-at a minimum through the election-and I feel I am unable to effectively minister to the Epiphany community at this time. My family and I remain committed members of this ministry, and look forward to serving with you in the future.
Please keep us in prayer as we navigate these waters-it is the prayers of others and the hope in Christ that sustains us.
Peace
Pastor Tracy Paschke-Johannes

We are grateful to God for Pastor Tracy’s ministry among us and pray for her in her continuing ministry at Wittenberg and in Springfield. Regarding future pastoral coverage at Epiphany, Pastor Heidi Johns intends to return as a part-time interim minister November 1, pending Council approval.
