Coming November to Kickstarter!
DEEP THEORY

Our very own board member, Zach Young, is creating a comic book with his friend! Due to the pandemic and cancellation of the annual MGF golf tournament, he's donating 25% of the proceeds to The Matt Garcia Foundation, but he can't do it without you! The comic book is set to launch around November 17th on Kickstarter.
Kickstarter is a crowd-funding platform that brings creative projects to life ONLY with the help of its supporters by reaching a set goal. If the goal is not met, no funds will be raised. Zach and his friend have been working tirelessly on this project to make sure it's of the highest quality and that it makes it into your hands. With your contribution, you're able to make their dreams come true AND you're helping to keep Matt's dream alive!

Remember, 25% of all proceeds will go to the Foundation. Be sure to visit their Kickstarter website to be reminded.

You can find more info about Deep Theory Studios on their website or follow them on Instagram @deeptheorystudios.

Unique rewards are also included on different levels of contribution so don't miss out!

A prescription to improve your mood, reduce stress and prevent chronic illnesses. Visit Sports Medicine at Kaiser Permanente.

Staying active is key to good health. COVID-19 has interfered with some of our routines like going to the gym, playing on sports teams, and enjoying family games. As sports medicine doctors, we care for everyone from top professional athletes to those just starting out with new exercise routines. We’re aware of the challenge the pandemic presents. We also know that exercise can be the best medicine for all our patients.
"Whether our clinicians are offering physical therapy, helping you recover from an injury, or advising on a new exercise routine, it's always our priority to keep you healthy, safe, and happy," said Dr. Smita Rouillard, Associate Executive Director at The Permanente Medical Group. "Regular exercise helps you prevent injuries and improve your health."

If your exercise routine has been disrupted, this may be a good time to try something new:

  • Aim for 30 minutes of physical activity per day at least 5 days a week.
  • Use what you have - you don’t need fancy equipment. Brisk walking or taking the stairs is great exercise.
  • Take advantage of the exercise videos at ClassPass (no cost for members).

If you’re exercising outdoors, practice social distancing and wear a mask.

Competitive athletes can work on sports-specific conditioning exercises to stay fit and avoid injury. Our experts developed a Return to Sports Playbook just for you.

Staying active can help you through these tough times. And it will help keep you in shape until we can all get back to the activities we love.
