In an increasingly paperless world, many important files, accounts and resources are only available online. So, what happens after someone passes away?

Professor Natalie Banta of Drake University Law School will explore this topic, providing attendees with strategies to help their clients protect their online assets.

Click here for event and registration information. RSVP by 5 p.m. on Friday, July 12, to avoid a last-minute registration fee.

Optional session: Everyday ethics - Minnesota Insurance ethics CE available

We're kicking off our chapter meeting with a session on common ethics issues. Led by John Comer, CFP®, of Comer Consulting and Matt Boos, J.D., of Fredrikson & Byron, this presentation will dive into relevant ethics situations that come up in our profession and share interesting case study examples.
Save on registration for the FPA Annual Conference
FPA’s  Annual Conference  is an outstanding national event – and this year it’ll be held in Minneapolis, October 16-18! Early bird pricing runs now through July 26 , so we recommend you sign up soon to receive the discount.

In addition to early bird pricing, there are several other ways to save.

Are you already an FPA of MN member?
Our local FPA of MN chapter has access to a special $150 discount on conference registration. When combined with the existing early bird and FPA of MN member pricing, this discount could   help bring the $1,299 conference price down to $549!

This discount has limited availability, so we recommend registering soon. We sent out a special email with this discount code on Friday, June 7, so check your inbox. If you’re a member and you missed the email, please reach out to  [email protected] .

Not an FPA member?
On top of the discounts for current FPA of MN members, right now first-time FPA members can save an additional $200 on dues and $150 on registration for the conference. That means that if you become a member and sign up for the conference before July 26, you’ll be able to save approximately $800 on member dues and registration!  Click here to learn more .
