~ Fenugreen's FreshPaper Available at Two FRESHFARM Markets - This Weekend Only. For the first time in the DC area, FreshPaper, a low-cost, biodegradable paper made of edible organic ingredients will be sold at the Dupont Circle FRESHFARM Market (Sunday, May 20) and Silver Spring FRESHFARM Market (Saturday, May 19). The product, originally developed to help farmers and customers keep produce fresh longer, has generated a lot of buzz and attention around the country. We are excited to be able to offer this product at our markets this weekend only. A portion of all sales will go to benefit FRESHFARM Markets Matching Dollars program. 

 

FRESHFARM Markets Proud Supporter of "No Bully Fitness and Nutrition Tour Starring the Capital Kidds"

Created through the Innovative School of Performing Arts, The Capital Kidds are a group of young performers from the Walter Jones Education Campus in DC who promote nutrition and exercise through song and performances.  The Kidds will be performing at campuses throughout the District this Spring to encourage their peers to develop positive lifestyles while having fun.  In fact, they'll be performing at Watkins Elementary School, the home of our FoodPrints Food Lab.  The tour kicks off Tuesday, May 15th.
