Disaster Relief Training-Saturday, April 9th. 9:00-Noon at Immanuel Baptist Church in Greenwood. Anyone both Male and Female that are interested are encouraged to attend. This will give you certification to work with any Mississippi Baptist Disaster Relief teams.There will be training for: Feeding, Basic Chainsaw, Mudout/Blue Tarp/Shower Trailer, Childcare. If you haven't taken the General Certification Course you will need to arrive at 8AM to complete this requied session. No registration required and lunch will be provided by the Feeding Unit.

The Church Van will leave from the north parking lot at 7:15AM.

Mission Opportunity-June 25th-30th, 2011 

We are in the process of putting a team together to help church planters Elliott and Heather Sneed with their work in Spencerport, NY. The Sneeds launched Discovery Church this past January and have already seen God do some amazing things.

They are looking for teams to help them with Servanthood Evangelism projects in their community. We will fly out on Saturday, June 25th, worship with them on Sunday (help staff children's areas, set up and take down), projects Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday we will go to Niagra Falls and fly home on Thursday, June 30th.

Cost is $600 per person plus food and incidentals.
