Dear Forest Hills Families,
This weekend, we were informed that Mrs. Kelli Zupke, a veteran Forest Hills teacher now serving in the EP Online program, was injured after falling from her horse and is currently in the hospital. Her husband has given us permission to share her CaringBridge site (site name: kellizupke), where details about her progress may be found. This is sad news, and we will keep Mrs. Zupke and her family in our thoughts.
Many of our families know and have had Mrs. Zupke as a teacher so I wanted to inform you of this news today. As you talk with your child(ren) about Mrs. Zupke’s accident, you may find this resource helpful. Please know that you may contact me or Jane Brill, our school social worker, if you have specific concerns about your child and their response to this news. We will be happy to suggest additional support services for your family should there be a need.
