All Foxhall Internists patients—regardless of place of residency—who meet medical eligibility requirements for the COVID-19 vaccine can now receive the Moderna COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) vaccine at our offices.
Appointments are readily available for patients seeking either their first or second dose. Remember that the second dose should be given 4 weeks after the first dose, and you will need to bring your vaccination card to your appointment here. *Patients who previously received their first dose with us do not need to re-register for their second dose.
As previously noted, we also have a sufficient supply of vaccines to offer vaccination appointments to our Foxhall Immunizations patients who have been seen in our clinic within the past 3 years.
At this time, the Moderna vaccine may only be given to individuals age 18 and over.
Registration for a vaccination appointment at Foxhall Internists is only available on our website:
You will be asked to enter the requested information on our website form, and then one of our staff will contact you when your turn arises to schedule an appointment to receive the vaccine in our clinic.
In order to allow our staff to continue their usual patient care work, we kindly ask that you do not call us to register for a vaccine appointment, or to check on your status on our waiting list.
Remember that to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, you may not have received any other vaccine within the previous 2 weeks, or monoclonal antibody treatment for COVID-19 within the past 90 days. If you have had a recent COVID-19 infection, you will need to have satisfied the CDC requirements for ending isolation before you may receive a vaccine.
