With cases of influenza already being reported around the country, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)  recommends people receive the vaccine before month's end.  

Foxhall Internists Immunization Clinic has flu shots available and you can receive your vaccine without an appointment, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The vaccine is available in Suite 340 at Foxhall Internists' practice located at 3301 New Mexico Avenue, NW.

Many preparations of the flu vaccine are available at Foxhall Internists, including vaccines that protect against three or four strains of flu, an egg-free formulation for individuals 18 years of age and older, and a high dose vaccine for those 65 years old and older.
