December 6, 2019

Please remember it is illegal to make a U-turn on the street in a school zone; please do not do this in front of Franklin. Also, please note that our buses are ALL coming on time most mornings, so we need the whole bus lane for all six buses to park and unload. Please do not park in the bus lane. Thank you very much for your cooperation in this matter.

Final Days of PTO Fall Fundraiser
We are in our last week of the Franklin-Randall PTO Fall Fundraiser and have almost reached our goal of $23,000.

Every dollar donated goes towards resources to support students, families and some pretty amazing kindergarten teachers at Franklin Elementary. Take a minute to see firsthand how last year's donations supported kindergarten literacy, classroom environments and even a beloved turtle named Tuck.

Please help us close the fundraising gap this week by donating online at Franklin-Randall PTO or by sending your donation to your student's teacher in an envelope labeled PTO Fall Fundraiser.

The Lifetouch portraits for Franklin will be coming home in backpack mail today, Friday, December 6. Thank you for your patience in this matter.

We have scheduled FRANKLIN RETAKE DAY for
The Carnival Needs Your Help
The Franklin-Randall PTO Carnival is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2020. But it can't take place without a few volunteers willing to start planning and coordinating now. Coordination includes marketing, soliciting raffle prizes, scheduling food and supplies, and recruiting day-of-event volunteers. Much of the work can be completed via email, in the evenings and/or on weekends. If you think you could help as part of an event-planning team, please email

Donate Your Gently Used Books
Randall will again be hosting a BookShare (in late February) where all Randall students will be invited to choose a few free books. Our goal is to collect 1400 books, and we need your help!

We need gently used books that appeal to 3rd, 4th and 5th graders.

You can drop off your books in the Randall Library, between now and mid February.

Questions? Please stop by the Randall Library or contact Michelle Reis at 608-204-3310 . Thanks for supporting our community of readers.
