PTO Community Meeting Next Tuesday
You are invited!
PTO Community Meeting
Tuesday 11/12
Franklin Elementary Library 6:45-8PM

Ever wonder what school safety drills are all about? I.e. how they are introduced at school and ways you can talk to your kids about them at home? Come for a presentation and open discussion with our school social workers Hannah Klusendorf (Franklin) & Katie Larson-Klodd (Randall), followed by a Q&A with our principals Sylla Zarov (Franklin) & John Wallace (Randall).

In addition:
- Hear an update about our schools from the principals
- Meet other Franklin/Randall parents from your child’s grade
- Find out what the PTO Board has been up to
- Dinner done! (Childcare provided and Pizza for all)

All parents of Franklin/Randall students are welcome. No need to preregister or RSVP. Doors open at 6:30PM, presentation starts at 6:45. See you there!
Picture Re-Take Days
Franklin's Picture Re-Take Day scheduled for November 14, 2019 has been CANCELLED.

The lab that is working on our proofs is behind and since we don't have our proofs yet, we are cancelling retake day at this time.
It will be rescheduled as soon as we have a confirmed date when the proofs arrive and families have time to review them.

Thank you for your patience with this.
Randall's Picture Re-Take Day is scheduled for Wednesday, November 20.

If you want your student’s picture re-taken, please send in their old picture package to give to the photographer. If your student is getting their picture taken for the first time, pictures may be ordered at mylifetouch.com using the picture code below.

Randall’s picture code is EVTGZWH88.

Fall Fundraising Campaign Needs Your Support
Help us raise $23,000 for our schools. The Fall Fundraising Campaign allows the PTO to fund valuable programs and resources that benefit our students, families, teachers and staff.   No gift is too small. Every dollar makes a difference.

Ways your donation helps:
$5 – buys a book for the school library
$25 – grows the outdoor classroom
$50 – funds important classroom materials
$250 – provides after-school transportation so children who want can participate in clubs
$1,000 – supports the Franklin-Randall Social Justice Fund, directed by school social workers to assist families with basic needs in times of crisis

Campaign letters and donation envelopes went home in Friday Folders on Oct. 24. If you missed it, it's easy to  make a secure, online donation . Or send your check payable to the Franklin-Randall PTO to school. Find more details about the Fall Fundraising Campaign on the  Franklin-Randall PTO website .

Together, we can make an impact and support our school community!
