While our students and teachers make an additional effort to bring attention to Black History and Black Excellence this month, the FR PTO would like to do the same - with your help.
Please join us in sharing examples of Black leaders in your field, your favorite Black-owned stores, Black scientists, professionals, and innovators you admire, incredible Black authors, speakers, and artists, and other examples of Black Excellence in our community and around the globe. You can add email categories, names, videos, stores, links, book titles, etc. to email@example.com. Thanks!
Join the Randall Scratch Club - Virtual Edition!
For students in 4th and 5th grade, the popular Scratch Club has switched to Zoom for this semester. This PTO-sponsored club is taught by UW Computer Science students who share their love for computer programming with the kids using the Scratch programming language. It is coordinated and facilitated by a parent volunteer, Lisa Grueneberg (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Scratch Club will be held via Zoom on Wednesdays 3:30-4:30 starting February 17th.
