Donate Native Plants to Randall’s Garden
Randall Elementary School is looking to expand its native plant garden in order to provide wildlife habitat, a natural space at school, and learning opportunities for students.

You’re invited to donate plants to the Randall garden through the Plant Dane Native Plant Program through March 19. Visit the Plant Dane donation page and select “Randall Elementary School” to donate. Plants are $2.25 each and must be ordered in multiples of 4. Friends and family members are also welcome to donate!

Thanks for spreading the word and helping to expand the Randall garden!

Hungry to Support the PTO and Eat Pizza?
Do so on 3/19!
The PTO is partnering with The Roman Candle
again this year to benefit our schools!
If you missed out on the community event on March 11th, (or couldn’t get enough of it), then you’re in luck! The Roman Candle is hosting another community event to benefit our schools on Tuesday, March 19th .

If you order from The Roman Candle on the 19th then they will donate up to 20% to Franklin-Randall schools. Be sure to tell them which school your kiddo(s) is at too! They are keeping track so they can reward the school that raises the most funds with a pizza party for a class!

Here’s how to participate:
  • By phone: Call either the Monroe St. (608-446-4200) or Willy St. (608-258-2000) location and mention Franklin Randall.
  • At restaurant: Go to the Monroe St. or Willy St. location and present the attached flyer.

Thanks for supporting our PTO and schools!

Randall Staff Appreciation Dinner
Our annual Randall Staff Appreciation dinner is right around the corner (after we return from Spring Break)! On Thursday, April 11 , we will celebrate our wonderful staff with a delicious meal. Pizza and sandwiches will be donated by Roman Candle and Barriques. Please consider contributing with set-up or clean up help, a salad or a dessert, or some utensils. Thank you!
Way to go, Raccoons!
This year's Math Fest teams enjoyed a morning of math challenges at Edgewood College with peers from Madison west-side schools.

The 4th-grade team included (pictured in front, from left) Laura Sensenbrenner, Kerry Lauer, Mark Ginder-Vogel, and Mei Dryer. Kerry was the highest scoring Randall 4th grader in the individual event and earned a blue ribbon.

The 5th-grade team included (back row, from left) Frank Colbert, Elliott Bradbury, Henry Henkelmann, and Isabella DiCarlantonio. Elliott earned Randall's 5th-grade blue ribbon, and tied for 5th-place in the individual event overall.
