2020 PTO Fall Fundraiser:
What's This Year's Principal Challenge?
What will they do this year?

Each year our amazing principals offer a surprise reward for our Franklin-Randall kids if we meet our PTO Fall Fundraising goal.

Want to know what will happen if we meet our goal for 2020? Watch this video to find out what Mr. Wallace and Mrs. Z. have planned, and how your donations can help our students, staff and families!

YOU CAN GIVE BY:
  • Donating securely online through our PayPal account*
  • Mailing a check (made out to: Franklin-Randall PTO) to school.
  • Asking your employer to match your donation to double your impact.

No gift is too small and every dollar makes a difference! Gifts are tax-deductible, and your donation supports community building efforts like the Parent Empowerment Groups, teacher recognition efforts, instructional materials for the classrooms, the Social Justice Fund to assist families with basic needs in times of crisis, and more.

*Donations made to the PTO's PayPal account during the 2020 Fall Fundraiser will go to the Franklin-Randall PTO. For families interested in donating to the West High Area Food Collaborative during this time, donations can be made directly through the Collaborative's website.
Cooking Classes for Kids!
Chef Lily, also known as “The Kids Chef,” is a cooking instructor and freelance chef with a culinary degree from Madison College and a background in Early Childhood Education. Her goal as an instructor is to expose children to the many benefits of cooking through hands-on experiences that develop skills to be used for life. It is also to teach children about healthy foods and cooking at a young age so that they can carry these values into adulthood.

Her classes for kids aged 5-12 have been popular at Meadowridge and Lakeview Libraries. Now, Chef Lily has created a series of online cooking videos so people can make her recipes at home. Kids and families will learn about different foods, where they come from, how to follow recipes and how to use a variety of tools over the course of the 12-video series.

2020 Thanksgiving Basket Drive
For the past 32 years, Goodman Community Center’s Thanksgiving Basket Drive has been a tradition, with many long-serving staff, volunteers and their children returning year after year.
