Glow Ball - Tomorrow Night!

Franklin-Randall Glow Ball 2018 Saturday, January 13th from 6-8pm In the Franklin Gym By now, we hope everyone has this Saturday's Glow Ball on their calendars. The event will feature free admission, fundraising treats($.50-$1), custom-made winter hats($10) and lots of dancing! We could still use just a couple more volunteers to ensure a smooth and safe event. Please consider helping out for an hour or so. Writing Contest for 3rd, 4th, & 5th Graders It's a writing contest for 3rd-5th graders! Encourage your child to take advantage of this great opportunity to develop their skills and creativity. 4th-grade  Haiku poems  are due January 25. Kids can share a google doc from their school accounts with Kimi Ishikawa ( kishikawa@madison.k12.wi.us ). This doc should have 1-3 titled haikus on page 1, and the student name and teacher name on page 2. 3rd-5th-grade picture books are due February 8. Kids should give their finished, bound picture books to their teacher or to Kimi Ishikawa, with the  entry form  as the last page of the book. Contact Kimi with questions.

Franklin Book Fair Volunteers Needed

The book fair will be coming to Franklin during our Special Morning on Saturday, January 20th. If you would be willing and able to help either set up the book fair on Friday, January 19th or work the register the following morning, please fill out this form . Thank you for your support!

Randall Yearbooks--Order Deadline Fast Approaching Randall yearbooks are available for purchase online:  YBPAY.LIFETOUCH.COM .  The cost is $10 and the order ID code is 11286518. If you wish to purchase your yearbook by check, we have extra flyers in the available in the office. The order deadline date is Friday, February 2.

Bookshare at Randall The Randall LMC will host a Bookshare later this winter and at that time, all Randall students will be able to choose books for free! We are collecting gently used children's books between now and February. Please drop them off in the Randall library. We ask that the books be ones that appeal to 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders, and that don't show lots of wear and tear. Thank you so much for supporting literacy (and recycling) at Randall!

Box Tops for Education Please keep clipping those box tops! You can send them in all year long and this is a super easy way to earn money for our school. Thanks for your support!
