Lowe’s Hometowns Project Makes a

Meaningful Impact at Githens Center

This past November, a team of Lowe’s associates arrived at Githens Center, rolled up their sleeves and began digging in to make an immeasurable impact in our community!

Juan Cintron, Store Manager of Lowe’s Home Improvement in Deptford, NJ, recalled working on a project at Githens Center nearly a decade earlier. Remembering that experience—and now being in a position to help make a difference—he chose Githens Center for a grant as part of Lowe’s Hometowns Project. So, Juan assembled a team of volunteers from a number of Lowes store locations and departments. With warm hearts on a cold day, this small but mighty team rolled up their sleeves and began work to build a new hardtop gazebo and new picnic tables for Githens Center.
