Gloucester County Decommissions Outdoor Mobile Office Unit

Gloucester County decommissioned the mobile office unit behind Building #2, 6489 Main Street, on Friday, August 14. The mobile unit had served as a reception center and Treasurer’s Office cashiering station since County offices began reopening to the public earlier in the summer. With the mobile unit being decommissioned, patrons will now check in with an employee at the indoor reception area located in the first-floor lobby of Building #2.

Back to Business Grant Program Proving to be a Success

Evan VanLeeuwen, treasurer of the Gloucester Economic Development Authority, presents Dr. Joseph Lombard, DDS, with a Gloucester CARES Act Business Recovery check. The Gloucester Board of Supervisors approved $500,000.00 in CARES Act funds to support local businesses. To date, 21 applications have been approved totaling $78,817.00. Gloucester County is assessing the economic impacts to local businesses due to the the threat of COVID-19, in an effort to report them accurately to state and federal partners. Additional assistance may be available if the County reaches certain thresholds in overall impact. We ask all local business partners to report any economic impacts to Gloucester’s Business Recovery Coordinator, Sherry Spring, on a weekly basis so that we may better assist you.
