ATTENTION – GLOUCESTER TAXPAYERS

Gloucester Residents
If you no longer own an automobile, truck, trailer, motorcycle, motor home etc for any reason please ensure the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles has a Disposal Date of when you last owned the item. If the date of disposal is blank and/or listed in DMV as being after January 1, 2019 you will be taxed for the entire year of 2019.

Military Residents
If you own an item of personal property registered in Virginia and are not a Virginia Resident please provide a copy of your LES to show proof of taxation from your home of record. If we do not have an LES on record and your property is titled in Virginia as of January 1, 2019 you will be taxed for the entire year of 2019.

Residents Who Have Moved
If you have moved from Gloucester prior to January 1, 2019 please inform the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles of your new address and garaging jurisdiction as of January 1. Failure to change your mailing address and garaging jurisdiction with DMV will result in you being taxed even though you may reside in another locality for 2019.

Pocahontas Imagined:
A Pop-Up Print Show
November 16, 2019

As part of Main Street's Pocahontas Festival, Arts on Main will host "Pocahontas Imagined", a Print Pop-Up Show featuring artistic representations of Pocahontas. The images on display have been reproduced and shared with Gloucester County by the Museum of History & Culture in Richmond, Virginia.
This event is open for one day only, the Saturday of the Pocahontas Festival.

                                                   GENTLE YOGA
Parks, Recreation and Tourism is sponsoring Gentle Yoga for ages 55 and over on Thursdays from 5:30-6:45 pm at Botetourt. A softer, slow paced workout, while still achieving the benefits of stretching, balance and flexibility. Bring a mat for floor work. The six-week session begins Thursday, November 7 and ends Thursday, December 19 (we will skip November 28). The fee is $30 and the deadline to register is November 6.
 CHAIR YOGA
Parks, Recreation and Tourism is sponsoring Chair Yoga for ages 55 and over on Mondays and Fridays from 11:00-Noon at the PRT Office. A complete yoga experience to improve or maintain flexibility, strength, balance and lung capacity. The fee is $6 per class.
