very pleased to announce the continuation of the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) grant, supported through Bay Aging’s designation as a Community Action Agency.
Details related to the funding opportunity’s focus areas, eligible expenses, grant requirements and awards process are included in the attached cover letter and application. Applications are due by
Friday, November 8 at 4:00pm.
Bay Aging will facilitate a training webinar to provide additional details about the purpose of Community Action and elaborate on Bay Aging’s expectations to assist organizations write successful grant applications. New and previous grant recipients are strongly encouraged to participate. Please RSVP to be sent the webinar invitation.

Pocahontas Imagined:
A Pop-Up Print Show

As part of Main Street's Pocahontas Festival, Arts on Main will host "Pocahontas Imagined", a Print Pop-Up Show featuring artistic representations of Pocahontas. The images on display have been reproduced and shared with Gloucester County by the Museum of History & Culture in Richmond, Virginia.
This event is open for one day only, the Saturday of the Pocahontas Festival.

Do you want to help your community in an emergency?
Join C.E.R.T.!
The Community Emergency Response Team is a group of community volunteers that learn to take care of themselves, their families and neighbors. Come and learn how to manage utilities, put out small fires, provide Basic First Aid, learn how to search an area safely, help at local events and more! C.E.R.T. training is free. Lunch is provided.
The classes are October 26 and October 27, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. in Mathews, 94 Cricket Hill Rd, Hudgins.
