Census mailings to be sent out March 12 

 
Beginning Thursday, March 12, homes around the country will begin receiving official mail from the United States Census Bureau with detailed information on how to respond to the 2020 Census online, by phone or by mail. Gloucester County’s Complete Count Committee (CCC) encourages all residents to respond to the Census mailings to exceed the County’s 83 percent response rate that was seen during the 2010 Census.

At-large Supervisor Chriscoe to hold town hall meeting

Gloucester County At-Large Supervisor Ashley Chriscoe will hold a Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. in the Colonial Courthouse, 6504 Main Street.

Supervisor Chriscoe will hold the town hall to provide citizens with an opportunity to share their comments or concerns and to ask questions about the County Administrator’s proposed budget. Three or more members of the Board of Supervisors may also be in attendance.

Concerts By The Bay to present The Maxwell Quartet

Concerts By The Bay will present, "The Maxwell Quartet from Scotland." The group will perform Sunday, March 29 at 3 p.m. at Mathews High School in the Harry M. Ward Auditorium. This quartet is regarded as one of Britain's finest, whose members have a strong connection to their folk music heritage. Performing widely across Scotland, the quartet has established a reputation for delighting audiences with their unaffected enthusiasm.

Middle Peninsula Advisory Board Takes Shape 

Avalon Center is proud to announce its Advisory Board for the Middle Peninsula. Members have developed a strategic, self-governing plan that includes board growth, fundraising, and awareness in the Middle Peninsula. The board is excited to plan an outdoor awareness event on October 3, 2020. Event details will be released very soon.
