Builders Association of Greater Lafayette and Greater Lafayette Commerce are pleased to invite you and your family to our first Construction Career & Education Expo.  This is an expo where attendees will have the opportunity to talk with businesses from all facets of the construction trade, i.e. - Architect, civil engineer, mortgage broker, millwright, wind turbine technician, welder and more.   There will be tons of hands on activities!   
 
Everyone is welcome at the public session from 3:30 - 7:00 p.m. No registration required.

Henry Poor Celebrates 100 Years in Business
 
Celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, Henry Poor Lumber still operates the one-location lumberyard that has been a backbone of its community for a century, and throughout the years the company has grown right along with Greater Lafayette and the surrounding area. In 1998 the company relocated to its current location in Lafayette to accommodate major road expansion in West Lafayette.
INFINITI Timeout For the Win

Purdue University Men's Basketball Coach Matt Painter is competing against 47 other D1 NCAA Men's Basketball coaches in the INFINITI Timeout For the Win challenge, raising up to $1 million for the American Cancer Society to help defeat everyone's rival - cancer.

Now through March 11, 2019 fans can vote for Coach Painter, helping him place in the top three on the national leaderboard and win a donation by INFINITI in his name to the American Cancer Society.
 
You can vote up to three times, every day, by doing the following:  
  1. Visit infinititimeout.com, search for "Matt Painter" and click "Vote"
  2. Post a photo signaling a timeout on Twitter, and including two hashtags: #TIMEOUTFTW AND #CoachMattPainter
  3. Post a photo signaling a timeout on Instagram, and including two hashtags: #TIMEOUTFTW AND #CoachMattPainter
