Greater Lafayette Commerce’s Second Chance Career Fair is designed to provide employment opportunities to individuals re-entering the workforce after being incarcerated or recovering from substance use disorder.

Increasingly, businesses across sectors are giving these individuals a chance at gainful employment and experiencing the benefits of embracing a second-chance workforce.
We say enough is enough. The deep-seated systemic racism and inequities that disadvantage communities of color are still woven into the fabric of our institutions today - from civic engagement to economic development, from education to health care.

That's why, during YWCA's annual Stand Against Racism, people are rallying across the nation to say We Can't Wait: Equity and Justice Now!

Join us during this year's campaign as we bring awareness to racism within our communities and connect with other activists and allies to build pathways toward racial equity and justice.

The 2022 Community Baby Shower
The Tippecanoe County Health Department's Fetal & Infant Mortality Review Program is hosting their first Community Baby Shower on Friday, August 5 from 12:30-3:30 p.m. at the Tippecanoe County Health Department.

The shower will be available to all Tippecanoe County mothers who are currently pregnant or have given birth within the last three months.

The aim of the event is to provide free education, resources and presents to the underserved population who may not otherwise have a shower of their own.

To that end, the Tippecanoe County Health Department is asking community members to become a sponsor and make a monetary donation or purchase a gift from their registry.

If you would like to become a sponsor, please contact Aubrey Kitchel at akitchel@tippecanoe.in.gov, or complete the registration form online.
